The Light Rescue Unit is one of the front-line vehicles of the Fire Services Department, and it can carry up to 6 personnel (including the driver). It is equipped with a telescopic ladder on the roof, a front-mounted or portable winch, rescue tools and equipment, along with fast-action firefighting gear, enabling firefighters to carry out rescue and firefighting operations immediately. The Light Rescue Unit usually has 3 or 5 storage compartments with roller shutters, one or two on each side and one at the rear.
